1150 Year-Old Plant in Iran

A 1150 year-old plant has been identified in the Katali Village in Iran's northeastern Khorasan province.
According to the views put forth by the experts, this tree has been the oldest tree of the country, the Chairman of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Ali Kazemi said.
According to the Jam-e-Jam, Kazemi added the species, suitable compatibility with the environment and long life of this plant has been indicative of its viability in its habitat.
He furthermore mentioned this natural work can develop more scientific researches as well as tourism.
