YOu need not towrry as the embassy of Iran is through careful but at the same time very much humble and attentive. GO to the embassy directly and tell them the situation. They would hopefully provide you with a better answer.
Keep smiling, Allah hafiz
hiya, iam a filipina christian and my bf is iranian muslim. we have been together for 4 yrs and now wants to settle down. i want to introduce him to my family before getting married... i havent met his family during these times but trust him. they dont approve of me at first and had broken up a cpuple of times but in the end we still come back together....crazy as it may seem but i trust him and i know he loves me & i love him a lot too...

Now my question is we are planning to visit my family but for some unfortunate reason his family ask him not to go but to delay it and wait because of a relative crisis someone is in the hospital & not an immediate family but a cousin...a lot of people especially my family is really looking forward to meeting him...and if i wait and delay again it means i will have to disappoint them again after the failed plan previously...now he wants to come even if they still dont approve coz the past years we have been together when this happens I understand and wait always now he wants to do his promise even if his family doesnt approve...now if he comes with me without approval from his parents what is the possibility of him being kickout of the house? are iranian parents able to really disown their own children? and not care for them if they did something against their will like run away to meet my family?

pls i need advise as im not familiar with the iranian culture....in my country if its my parents at first they will get * when i come back and say a lot of things but then they will forgive me and accept that what we did is what we wanted to do...i dont want to have any ill feeling with my future in-laws but we cannot keep on waiting whenever something comes up right? am i being selfish? just for ones i want us to do something we want to do.. is that sooo bad?
Iran does not recognize people converting from Islam.
If you believe that he is lying to you, the best way is to abandon him.

Usually Iranian names are hard to be pronounced for foreigners so some Iranians prefer to have a simple name. For example Jahan will be John outside Iran.

If you give us his name, maybe we can tell you if there is a restriction for that special name or not!
Hello everyone! can somebody help me with that? Im dating an iranian guy and he keeps lying me a lot about a lot of things. I found out that he got two different names , one "english" name in the british passport and one "persian" name in the iranian passport. He told me that he cant have a foreigner name in Iran, thats why he keeps his persian name in that passport.
can anybody tell me if that is true? Thanks!
I and my Iranian Husband were not married at the time, so we were told to get married the Islamic way and have to be married in the Iranian Mosque and obtain the Islamic marriage cert and the cert to prove than I am Muslim before they will even consider to issue me the visa.
I also have a daughter from a previous relationship; the staffs from the embassy insist that my daughter's biological father has to give consent to allow my daughter to visit Iran. As we have no contact with him for like 10 years, it was proven difficult. Anyhow, We pushed ahead with the visa without her "father's consent" after 3 months of begging and humiliation, they have finally agree to give her the visa. Their last word to my husband was “I don’t know why you want to take that kid with you!”
In general Iran was friendly but the one that we encountered in the embassy was just unbelievable…..
Anyway, I hope they won’t be too hard on you. Good Luck!
All these threads remind me of the movie "Not Without My Daughter". The civil rights violations in Iran are unbelievable. And the intolerance is sickening. From what I can tell Iran is a beautiful country with a rich wonderful history in many regards. Too bad such an extreme religious dictatorial theocratic regime is in place at this moment. May the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Moses, and God's only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, have mercy on us all and especially on this part of the world.
But from your information, we understand that you are from Muslim religion and married to Iranian women (also being Muslim). So there will not be any issues for you to visit and get out of Iran 'n' number of times.

But what my friend from Polish decentant may have meant is his religion (I assume may be Christian or Jew) and his wife's religion (Muslim from Iran) are different and they are married in english traditional way & living together in UK.

Few things here to be noted is that which passport are they holding, ex: Polish, Iranian etc. Is the name in the passport of his iranian wife changed adding his name to her last name. Name of spouse /her father's name is mentioned in her passport?

I dont know whether I am correct or not, respect the law of that country and do accordingly. Check directly with the Iranian embassy in UK, what formalities you need to complete. Iranians are warm and welcoming...so I hope that you will get your queries cleared (Aleksandra Konwa).

Regards,
Mani.
Or, you can go there with ur kid with no mother name on any document as a turist and pray to nobody realize ur wife is iranian .. If, it happens u will go to jail and neither good or alah can help u there ... Anyway have u learn farsi to go there ?????
