Dear Mr. Rahili:
I apologize for the long delay in writing this but I have been busy getting my life back in order since I returned from my trip. I wanted to write to thank you for the wonderful service you provided on my trip to Iran. Everything you arranged for me; the hotels, the guides and the itinerary was on a first class level and it gave me an opportunity to really see what a beautiful country Iran is. More importantly, I have come to love the Iranian people. Everyone was just so wonderful. Before I left America, almost everyone I know at home advised me against going. They told me the people would hate me as an American, that it would be dangerous and the standard of living would be very low. They could not have been more wrong. The Iranian people showed me so many expressions of love; they were kind and generous beyond belief. I did not have one negative reaction expressed to me for being American. I especially want to commend two of your employees; Tarry and Reza. They were courteous, knowledgeable and just a lot of fun to be with They made me feel so comfortable. I just can't say enough good things about them. I feel sure I have two new friends for life in Tarry and Reza. For sure, if I am fortunate enough to return to Iran in the future, I would request them for the entire trip. If there is anything I can ever do for you in America, please do not hesitate to let me know. I pray that in the future the foolishness of politics can be overcome and we can have free travel between two beautiful countries. Thank you again for everything. Dear Mona,
Thank you so much for a wonderful trip. Everything that you organised- from the short-notice visa, to the drivers, guides and hotels were perfect. I was able to discover how truly beautiful Iran and the Iranians are and the deep cultural heritage that lies behind modern day Iran. I really enjoyed spending time with each of the guides - each had a different angle to present of life in Iran and hosted me so kindly. I very much hope that I will have the honour to return to your country very soon and will certainly be in touch when I do. All my very best regards and congratulations for an outstanding service, Kirstie |

Dear Mona,
Sorry for the long delay in getting back to you re. our trip in Iran. Our trip to Iran has been probably one of our most memorable traveling experiences (my wife and I have done a fair amount of traveling in North and South America, Europe and Asia). We spent all of only 1 week planning this trip. Thanks to you, we were able to very easily arrange travel and accommodation at Tehran, Shiraz, Yazd, and Esfahan. These seemingly far flung places (from a US standpoint) were made very accessible by you. I particularly want to thank you for being able to keep up with our constantly changing arrival plans, and still meet us at Tehran airport at an unearthly hour. We are very glad that we made the trip, in spite of a significant lack of encouragement from most of our friends. We now have beautiful experiences to share with them. I hope more and more people from the world over, particularly the west, visit Iran, and understand it's people and its culture better. The people of Iran and India have deep historical ties as well. I hope in our small way, we have been able to contribute towards maintaining and strengthening those ties. Thanks and regards, Kanishka Lahiri. |

Dear All,
Orient-travel-pars may be a good organiser, as many others in Iran, but their prices are ANORMALLY HIGH !!! They are simply applying a 60% margin... There are lots of travel agencies that you all can easily find on internet, so ask for several quotations before chosing or you may have desapointing surprises when you will get there and get to know the real prices Keep your eyes open! Tourist are not Milky cows!! Cheers, |

dear guest,
I think you should present any evidence if you were a customer of this travel agency. Because there is no way to find out if you are a competitor of this agency or not, therefore forum admin has the rights to hide your message. I trust Irpedia as always. Marya |

Dear Marya,
I can present all evidences as I have all invoices of orient-travel-pars and proofs of local prices !!! I am not a competitor, I am just a tourist who is just giving advices to potential travellers who wants to discover Iran. I do not see where is the problem in telling everyone the truth about the margin of this agency which is Anormally high, and advicing them to ask for several quotations? Forums are made to let people discuss of their own experiences, should they be excellent or desapointing to let everyone capitalise on them! Cheers, |

What's actually the problem? professional services always are high in price, maybe they are offering this kind of services. Did you bought their services at all? or You just compared their services with other agents? I hope they answer you here. |

Dear Mehdi,
This is exactly the issue!!! orient-travel-pars only did bookings, we gave them the itinerary and they just booked... they were not organiser of a specific tour!!! and to do these bookings, they charged us 60 pc margin. So, in order to let people know about it, we are explaining the situation to all forums, institutions .... related to trips in Iran. We compared the prices with the real prices of hotels where we stayed there, those are just facts... And refering to the feedback we got only in one day, it seems that the interest of people in getting this kind of information is very high. Cheers, |

Response of the Orient Travel
Basically tourists are divided in to 2groups,first group are reliable tourists whom pay attention to the agreed conditions and second one are opposite the first group and looking for any opportunities to forget all their commitments. Mr&Mrs Duret are among the second group whiles they had come to Iran before and knew the prices (his attendance in Iran about One Month ago cause 2hours delay at Airport due to lack of notification) On arrival he paid half of the tour price despite of pre-agreement and he didn’t have any objection about the price. After receiving agreed services (even we did our best to offer our services better and more than what we promised) Some hours prior to their departure instead of full Pay-Off ,he looked for an excuse not to pay the rate of their services and then he didn’t find any lime excuse except the expensive tour price. Regarding to this fact that Orient travel -was sure of its services -recommend that we refer to the court and law and let them decide and judge on this matter but after explaining this matter ,they had to pay off and therefore he impolitely pay the amount to the representative of Orient travel.fortunately they had fair on one case and that was about receiving the services in the way we said even better and their problem was just with price (but after agreement and receiving our services!!!) Please check below the analyse of their tour price for judgement. Tour price for each person: 450.00USD Dizin Hotel 27.00×5= (per person) 135.00USD Breakfast 5.00×5= (per person) 25.00USD Kowsar Hotel 32.00×2= (per person) 64.00USD Transfer from IKA to Tehran : 15.00USD Transfer from Tehran to Dizin :(per person) 25.00USD Tour guide price from IKA to Dizin : (per person) 15.00USD Transfer from Tehran to IKA : 15.00USD Porters per person: 4.00USD Expenses for Delay on arrival to IKA : 5.00USD Expenses for the second attendance for invoice : 5.00USD Expenses for telephone per person: 10.00USD Total: 318.00USD Profit of agency : 135.00USD less than 30% Total: 453.00USD Discount 3USD |

This matter, does not allow you to be unpolite and denegrating our commitment, we were asking for a commercial discount in view of prices level practiced locally!!! But instead you threatened us and you finally got the full payment.
Denegrating tourists by dividing them into groups and segmenting them into such categories is really not professional and reveal the spirit you work with. Yes, we were late at the airport because you simply never adviced us about it, and as travel agent, you are suppose to be aware of all visa issue, right ? Quote after receiving agreed services (even we did our best to offer our services better and more than what we promised) unquote, this need to be clarified and justified! Thank you for having been transparent and detailled with the rates. It will indeed allow everyone to judge... As according to the prices you quoted, your total is actualy 566 usd for two, after deduction of the travel tour that we never had from ika to dizin. which make 60% !!! i will not talk about the local phone calls rates which were actually sms to only one person, the porters rates, the transfer rates ... Which will even increase this percentage! The funny part of this issue is that even mona, your travel representative, apologized for what happened when she realised the trick of this story... |

Hello,
It is my understanding that foreign tourists (ie., from Canada) need a local sponsor in Iran to apply for visa authorization from the ministry of foreign affairs - is this accurate? How do I find a sponsor? Thanks! |

To the amazing staff at Orient Travel Co,
I would like to thank you unconditionally for the amazing Iranian tour package that you organised. I would especially like to extend a HUGE thankyou to Mona, my immensely knowledgeable tour guide in Tehran. You did a wonderful job planning my tour around my difficult requests. As I come from an aviation background, I wanted to travel on as many aircraft that that was on offer in Iran as well as see most of the country in only four days. As impossible as this sounds, Mona managed to cater for this beautifully. I cannot begin to express my excitement of being able to live my childhood dream of travelling on a Boeing 707. Iran is one of the most picturesque and cultural countries that I have ever been to. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I now feel that I have been to the most friendly place on this planet earth. I look forward to returning to your beautiful country and would certainly choose Orient Travel co for my travel plans in the future. Many thanks again. We just returned from a ten day journey through Iran and are happy to report that it was among the best organized and most interesting tours we have ever taken. The folks at Orient Travel in Tehran did an excellent job of making all of the arrangements including organizing our visas. Mona, the lady who organized our trip was friendly, helpful and honest, a true professional who made us feel as though she had our best interests at heart. But the real star of the show was our English speaking guide Behzad Firouzi. Behzad was knowledgeable, accommodating and funny. His sense of humor helped to make our trip especially enjoyable. Behzad repeatedly went out of his way to make sure we got to experience the very best of Iran. He took us to the best restaurants and tea houses, introduced us to some of the friendliest most interesting Iranians we could ever hope to meet and showed off the best sights both ancient and modern that Iran has to offer. If you go to there, be sure to ask for Behzad! Iran is a beautiful country with some of the friendliest most hospitable people in the world. If we had to do it over again, we would do it exactly the same. Much respect to Mona, Bezhad and the Iranian people from Gorman and Faie Frederickson in Kuwait City

Thanks for the arrangements in our Iran trip. It's really wonderful and pleasant! Especially I would like to send my appreciation to our guide Mr Shahab Shafiyon who toured us in Iran trip in November to December. He is such incredible in whole trip. He tried own ways to explain, express and lead the best sides of Iran to us. It's really hard to express the appreciation via words. Thanks for the tour Shahab!! Wish Iran and her people all best!
