Hi
I was wondering if anyone out there knows how long it takes to get a iranian passport. The process began from July 2009 and I still don't know if the shenasnameh is done or not. But after the shenasnameh is done, how long does it take for me to get the passport? I'm iranian but born in Denmark. I have never been to Iran before and never had a iranian passport either. Another thing I was wondering about is, if I can just apply for a visa even if my parents are from Iran? I mean as I'm born in Denmark, couldn't I go to Iran just as a tourist? I appreciate all comments and answers. |

the only way for a girl to get passport in Iran : her husband's agreement or if she's single , her father's agreement . this agreement is essential and u can't get rid of it . |

well , as long as i know the shenasnameh which means the certificate is essential and also a national card and for men a card which shows you past your military service or took off . the main part is these three . anyway cause u lived overseas for more than 2 years you have to buy your military service for sth like $9000 or do your military service for two years ! the process for getting passport takes around 1 month if everything goes well . |

my friend if she wants to get married with you , her father's permission is very important , she need to get her father;s Signature under her document , if no father available she needs to provide a prove of his absence , how ever you are not definitely going to get visa in Iran if you travel with her witch is illegal , you have to get visitor visa individually with out knowing her , then after entry then happily get married , she still needs her father's permission to get passport , otherwise you go Iran get married then her permission to get passport is on you she will be you property

I have been married to an Iranian for almost 18 years and we have a 16 year old daughter. I had the opportunity of visiting Iran last year. When we arrived there the officer that was collecting passports asked my husband why he hasn't gotten me my Iranian Passport. I would like to know what documents i would need to send in to get an Iranian Passport for myself and my daughter. Please list for me what I would need to send in.

For all people who have Iranian passport or Birth Certificate or National Card or Entering or Visiting Iran, They can easily call their Iranian Embassy and they will give you the exact and correct steps that you need to take.
For example: Iranian in Canada who wants to obtain following documents, they must do following instruction to obtain them: Birth Certificate: http://www.iranembassy.ca/fa/faConsul...henasnameh http://www.iranembassy.ca/fa/faConsul...henasnameh National Card: http://www.iranembassy.ca/fa/faConsul...eColumnN=1 Iranian Passport: Tajdid: http://www.iranembassy.ca/fa/faConsul...sportRenew Sodoor: http://www.iranembassy.ca/fa/faConsul...tFirstTime Mafghood Shode(Lost): http://www.iranembassy.ca/fa/faConsul...ssportLost The above info is for Iranian in Canada from Iranian Embassy in Canada. To find these info for the country you live in, try this site: http://ir.embassyinformation.com/ Or in Google search for "Iran Embassy in Denmark" and change the Denmark in the search to your country I have noticed that a lot of infos and answers are incomplete or incorect or misleading, so best is to contact the Iranian Embassy for your enquiries for assurance since Iran changes the rules often and the old user experiences would be incorrect. Good Luck, Syd |
