hello everyone
I have few important questions about visa to Iran. Im Polish and married to Iranian in traditional english way  ( we live in uk). We have son who has only polish nationality and passport.
We are planing visit Iran in March 2010 and here start all troubles. I got informations/ rumours that my son whom father is Iranian need iranian certificate of birth to get visa?? . The same questions about me. I heard i should change religion to get more easy visa. In my opinion is ridiculous but can be true. Unfortunately I cant find answers on iranian embassy website and is difficult to call them. I will be appreciate for all your help. |

I am a black british married to an iranian man. We have been together for 10years. We are planning a trip to iran next year March so i can meet the extended family can any-one tell me if they are ok with Black *** skinned women due to the fact i will be flying there alone as my husband will be there 3 weeks before me. I am very nervous about going we are married in both muslim and chrisitan way please help will i be safe!!!! |

hi dont worry! people are not bad with black guys! or christian!! actually we have some kind of black guys here too! in south or around east of Iran, there are many black guys and they are like anybody else for us. and christian are here too! dont worry and try to enjoy your trip! |

Hi, I am an Iranian girl studying in Germany for a while and now I am going to get married to my German boyfriend. We want to marry in Iran as my parents expect me.
I should organize an exact schedule for my boyfriend's travel to Iran as he is a student and lacks time. My main questions are: 1) How many days will it take for a foreigner coming to Iran to become Muslim and marry in all official ways. I have read that Iranian girls should have government permission to marry a foreigner. 2) How is the routine to do that? 3) Now an embarrassing question! Is "circumcision" really necessary for getting married and how and which organ will check it in Iran? I wonder if someone can answer my questions. Thanks a lot. I encountered something very shameful. There is no web source for a girl like me which I can have trustful information about getting married to a foreigner! you can always find webs filled with all gossips and funny and wasteful stories, but no helpful web pages... |

There is no need to travel to Iran, he can convert in an Islamic center or Iranian embassy. See this Islamischen Zentrum Hamburg You can find the answer of other questions there in detail.

Hi everyone,
I am a british Citizen and married to a beautiful Iranian Lady. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and never hesitated to marry her. We got married in a beautiful wedding in London but didn't do it in islamic way. I love Iran and my in laws love me too. As a black man married to a persian woman, I am not sure what kind of reception I would get by the authorities. My in laws attended our wedding in london and they have sent me an invitation to visit them. Can someone tell me if our children will be entitled to Iranian nationality. I want my children to have both british and iranian nationality just like their mom. I know that it is a very rare relationship because I have never seen or heard an iranian girl getting married to a black guy. I love to hear if someone tells me about this. in addition if the woman is muslim they man MUST MUST convert if he does not she will be in big trouble if she travels to iran and they find out and kids could not travel either unless you have converted. this is a sensitive issue so be sure not to get into trouble. It is against islam for a muslim woman to marry a non muslim and it is a big sin! my husband who is an american and was budist converted before we got married.

It is against the Islamic laws of Islamic Republic of Iran for a Muslim Iranian woman to marry a non-Muslim man; the penalties are extremely harsh! The Iranian authorities are meticulously bureaucratic; my strong advice to you is: don't consider travelling to the Islamic Republic until you have taken all necessary requirements: You need to make contact with an Iranian Embassy approved 'Shia Imam' in your city and make arrangments: firstly, for your conversion to Islam and secondly, to legalise your marriage. welcome to iran but about your question unfortunately iranian pepople are sensitive for brides.they like getting iranian brides to others natinality.but some of them preffer to have a good woman for their sons,so may be your husband family is,dont worry about them,just try,humanity is the most important if you have a gold heart you will be accepted. enjoy your trip |

if u dont know laws in iran ,,, u should know this ,,,,, if a girl is muslim ,, never he cant marry with a foreign boy,, beacuse her religions dosent allow ...... but if she isnot muslim ,, she can marry with evrybody ...but dont try to marry with iranian girls,,,,, usually iranian girls r not sure and only they think to money and a nice life!

A kind word of warning to Entry 57; whether you go to Iran or not, if you adopt that kind of disrespectful attitude towards Iranian women I promise you the authorities will crack you wide open; if you haven’t been clocked already ‘basically' your a dead boy walking.
