I'm a African American who will be moving to Tehran in Feb 2009. I'm moving to live with my husband who's persian and lives in Tehran. I'm a little nervous don't know what to expect? I was hoping to find a job, make some friends and maybe attend some university class. I know very little Farsi, does anyone have any advice or tips for me?

Salam, Mehdi.. Hale shoma chetora... I am a native born Iranian person that was born in Iran and moved to USA to get my degree and worked for several years. I am planning on visiting Iran in couple of Months, Enshallah, God willing to see how things are there in Iran and saw your email that you sent to someone saying that you teach English in an instution and they are looking for teachers. Can you please give me some ideas how would it be if I want to move back to Iran and wanting to teach English as a full time job? Would it be easy to get that and would it be a decent living in Iran?
