Hi, I would like to have a nose job in Iran and have tried everything to find assistance, but failed!
Please help me with finding the most famous experienced surgeon! I heard of Dr. Safavi but no contact info or if he is good? Dr. Farahvash has a website (http://www.iranplasticsurgery.org) but he does not answer to emails so I cannot contact him! Also, the website surgeryiniran.com, does not work and they do not answer as well. Please help, merci! |

Hi,
I was in Iran in Feb 2009 and contacted a surgeon to have a nose reshaping procedure. The surgeon Dr Mohammad AbediPour tried to took advantage of me and charge three times or four times the normal operating cost as I had come from Europe. He told me that out of 3000 practising plastic surgeons in Iran only 140 of them are qualified and showed some horrific pictures of surgeries that had gone wrong by other surgeons. To cut it short, I decided not to go ahead with the procedure and flew back to Europe. I decided to have it done in Europe instead. I had the operation done in March 2009. The cost was $6000 (the same amount that the Iranian surgeon wanted to charge me) and I am happy with the result. I really had underestimated the procedure. It was much more complicated that I had originally thought it would be. The risk of bleeding, infection and thrombosis and so on. I am so happy and pleased and thank God that I didn't do in Iran. To whoever wants to fly to Iran to do it my advice is don't go. Our surgeons in the west are regulated and all have the relevant qualifications. The after care is really important which you wouldn't get if you were to do it in Iran. |

Hi rebin, i know some very good plastic surgeons in Iran. For the time being Dr. Mohamadreza Moltaji is the most well-known as it comes to nosejob. The other famous and well-experienced one is Dr Abedipour, but he is expensive as our european guest mentioned here, he charges like twice the normal price in iran but not because the patient was european or... thats his own price. but i recommend you to have it done by Dr. Moltaji as I mentioned above. I havnt seen any one who has done nose job by Dr. Farahvash, but he is also famous.

Are you sure Dr. Moltagi is a plastic surgeon?
I thinlk he is an ENT surgeon not a plastic surgeon. If you want to be sure, call Iranian medical council and ask about his specialty.I will do so. Sara |

I've seen more 5 ppl done rhino by Moltaji. He does a great job. they look all the same though, like most of the others. Navvaab (the most famous internationally who died recently) used to do them all the same too. Anyways. Moltaji does a great job. I'm planning to go to him from Canada.
