Can anyone tell me if transit visas are easily extended in Yazd or Esfahan. You will have 10 days transit and will want to extend for a further 10 days. Also how is the Iran air air service are they often fully booked?

i am Mona ,working in travel Agency ,i should inform you that the visa on arrival is not possible to extend. If you like to stay more than one week ,you need to apply via a travel Agency and as soon as possible while we are near the holiday and forign ministry would not accept any new issues. Hi Fadela,
it's possible to travel to Iran on a business visa (which needs invitation from a registered company in Iran) or on your own, but you need to arrange it through a travel agent, I guess. by the way it's better to consult an agency, isn't it?

I am going to Iran for 5 days in July, does anyone have suggestion to where to go, and what to do for my vacation? And also, is it true that I (as a Norwegian citizen) do not need a visa in advance, but can get it on the airport upon arrival?? Thanks for help |

How about Mosques? I'm currently on a trip in Casablanca, Morocco and I've been to Hassan II Mosque. They allow non-muslims to go inside at a given time. Are there mosques in Iran where non-Muslims are allowed to enter?

thanks for choosing iran for visit . if you want to see the special sights of iran you can visit isfahan and shiraz in 5days . and having visa isn't related to your nationality you can get your visa from the airport if you want to stay here less than a weak. arefeh.

If you want to visit Iran then look at www.explore.com and www.exodus.com. These 2 companies each offer one tour to Iran. They do small group exploratory holidays with Tour Leader (usually British) and local guides throughout tour.
