Hi guys,

I've had two rhinoplasty surgeries done in Canada a few years back and I can honestly say that I'm not satisfied with the results. I'm considering going to Iran to have it done again for the third and last time. Originally I was planning to go and visit Dr. Magid Navab for a consultation but unfortunately since he just recently passed away I don't know which doctor to go to. I've read all of your comments here and I found them to be very helpful and so I wanted to find out from everyone here which following doctors would be considered the BEST for a revised rhinoplasty. I honestly can't afford to have another doctor mess up my nose, and that's why I'm having a tough time finding a really good doctor. Your inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Dr. Faravash, Dr. Safavi, Dr. Javadi, Dr. Lajevardi. Dr. Ameri,
Dr. Ghaisari, Dr. Hafezi

Based on the before and after pictures Dr. Javadi and Dr. Ameri seem to be very good, but based on people's personal experiences Dr. Faravash and Ghaisari seem to be the best.

I had nose job(rhinoplasty) 10 years ago by Dr. Farahvash. The surgery was realy amazing .Dr. Farahvash is an Artist.I got my self confidence ,self steem .My face became gorgeous after rhinoplasty by Dr. Farahvash.

Dr. Ghaisari is not a plastic surgeon.I find it out from iranian medical council.
please help me to find a qualified plastic surgeon. I had an unsuccessful nose surgery in Sweden.

I was in Iran in Feb 2009 and contacted a surgeon to have a nose reshaping procedure. The surgeon Dr Mohammad AbediPour tried to took advantage of me and charge three times or four times the normal operating cost as I had come from Europe. He told me that out of 3000 practising plastic surgeons in Iran only 140 of them are qualified and showed some horrific pictures of surgeries that had gone wrong by other surgeons. To cut it short, I decided not to go ahead with the procedure and flew back to Europe. I decided to have it done in Europe instead. I had the operation done in March 2009. The cost was $6000 (the same amount that the Iranian surgeon wanted to charge me) and I am happy with the result. I really had underestimated the procedure. It was much more complicated that I had originally thought it would be. The risk of bleeding, infection and thrombosis and so on. I am so happy and pleased and thank God that I didn't do in Iran. To whoever wants to fly to Iran to do it my advice is don't go. Our surgeons in the west are regulated and all have the relevant qualifications. The after care is really important which you wouldn't get if you were to do it in Iran.
