Also , by fabled stories , some people had gone into cave and in returning they couldn't find .their path and lost , but after some days ,they were found by Garmab 's people . outward opinion had triangle shop whit 70 centimeter that was single way of accessible into cave and now it is .due to (because of) a torrent or midstream that was run in front of cave , input of cave is placed a little upper and on the slope of mountain . after this matter , torrent was intervented to upper parts.this outward was natural until 1372 ,but after this year it was changed and reopened by 1 and reclamation assistance of Zanjan ethnarch. In primitive exploration by organs it has parted to ward . left about 15 meter that was related the beside comidox of cave.Ulteriorly it had a way from outside of cave on parallel whit out ward (input) to comidox.now , it is using as a waiting saloon (hall) . primitive input is closed because they were going to prevent some damages.this place is named yort yeri by tropical people . it is meaning the living place of people by their forefather in Turkish language.

ehsan mohammadi: Roudafshan Cave

Caves of Iran - Roodafshan Cave
We began our excursion early in the morning, first we have to go along Tehran - Firouzkooh road, then after about 117 km we have to dissent and continue our way from "Seyedabad" township to " Simindasht " village but there is another junction in this way that we have to choose left way, after about 10 minute we can get to "Roodafshan" Village but we have to continue the rest on our feet in order to get the cave.

There is no view from the village that you can see the cave's entrance because it is situated in a great hole; In order to get that hole we had to have about 30 minute climbing with some steep. That is not easy for everyone to be done.

After that you can get to climax you can see a huge and beautiful scene of the cave's entrance that you can enter and have a search in.

The cave has light by itself but for more caution you can use headlamp or something like that by yourself in order to see your way clearly

General information
- GPS position: 35.6166667 ( latitude ), 52.483333 ( longitude )
- Cave's entrance: It is shaped like an arch with 40m length and 12m height
